Prodavi SA is a typical Swiss family business that has grown out of the experience and rapid development of the poultry industry over the past years. This trend has not only required us, as a partner of producers, to provide a broad range of offerings and know-how, but also required entrepreneurial thinking and action from producers. For over 20 years now, Prodavi SA has been selling chicks and young hens from the hybrid organisation H&N International GmbH. With our own breeding hens and hatchery, we have the necessary capacity to meet market demand.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, we supply all types of wholesalers, catering firms, retailers, direct marketers and trading companies across the whole of Switzerland with fresh eggs and egg products, in many different variations. Our employees work incredibly hard "behind the scenes" to assure their consistently high quality.
The new factory building we moved into in autumn 2015 in Schötz (canton of Lucerne) occupies a production area of around 4'500m2 and is one of the industry's most modern facilities in Europe.
If you have any questions about building or remodelling your hen housing and all the associated facilities, Farmtec has the answers. We will support you all the way: from the planning and project phase, to the completion of your new barn. Our many years of experience delivers solutions that combine good animal welfare with efficient working processes.
GalliVet AG is a veterinary practice offering various services for poultry farmers in Switzerland and neighbouring countries.
Its main role is veterinary treatment and advice for poultry firms across the whole of Switzerland. It also provides support to the external sales force of Prodavi AG. GalliVet AG sells vaccines, medicines, vitamins, feed supplements and disinfectants. Other services include animal autopsies and parasitological examinations.
GalliVet SA is the youngest company in the Hobet Group and started operations in 2018. In the coming years it will be developed into a centre of excellence which, together with the long-term experience and of its sister companies and the expertise of its vets, can offer its customers a professional and unique service.
Pollicoltura Gordola SA is a poultry farm in the canton of Ticino. The company was founded in 2013 when we took over the lease of the farm. We produce and sell the eggs of 17'000 brown free-range hens. Our production complies with the strict BTS and RAUS regulations (animal welfare). Our farm is inspected by the Swiss Animal Welfare Association. Regular salmonella and worm controls supplement our quality and hygiene concept. We supply our customers in the region with fresh eggs on a daily basis. We also run a shop on the farm where eggs, hens, packaging material and hen feed are sold.
We are the first organic hatchery in Switzerland and Europe to specialise in the breeding of organic chicks. Our hatchery exclusively uses hatching eggs of organic quality (Bio Bud label). The hatching eggs come from Swiss Bio Suisse farms in our area.
We operate the hatchery in collaboration with Hosberg AG in Rüti.
Ensuring the chicks are handled in an animal-friendly way is our top priority. The chicks are delivered in specially equipped vehicles by our highly trained staff. All the chicks that leave our hatchery travel with their own passport. This allows our customers to trace the origin of the chicks back to the parent birds. The excellent quality of our chicks is extremely important for us.
We have a participating interest in Radicos because we believe in the technology of the future. Radicos develops sensor-actuator networks and technologies.
